 Our client a leading Telecommunication & Power infrastructure Services Company with operations across Nigeria and West Africa is seeking to recruit exceptional and highly motivated professional to fill the position below:

Job Position: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Ref: OCL/EMR/CFO

Location: Any City, NG

Job Description

• The Chief Financial Officer will work closely with the CEO, and the board and play a critical role in the developing and implementing the group financial strategy and related subsidiaries.
• The CFO will be advisor to the unit heads evaluating and assisting them with their financial plans and economic models.
• They will be responsible for overseeing all financial and fiduciary responsibilities for the organization in conjunction with the directors, finance, audit and investment teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assume strategic leadership of the entire finance/accounts functions and its portfolio companies.
• Be a resource for financial modelling for all big opportunities and prospective projects and be able to arrange funding locally and internationally.
• Must have experience in raising international project finance for Infrastructure and PPP projects.
• Ensure adequate internal controls and control system and performance evaluating in the company and its portfolio companies.
• Ensure timely delivery of monthly group financial reports/review, appraisal and analysis of portfolio companies performance, in compliance with management and regulatory requirement.
• Interface with the auditors, tax authorities, banks and regulatory agencies.
• Responsible for ensuring that proper accounting records are maintained.
• Must be conversant with the international financial reporting standards.
• Plan, implement and manage group CAPEX and OPEX budget and cash flow forecast across the operating companies.
• Ensure that all approved financial cost controls are implemented and adhered to across the business.

Qualifications & Experience

• Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 12 years cumulative experience, 5 of which of must have been in a managerial role with membership of ACCA/ICAN.
• Previous work experience with any of the big five accounting /business management consulting firms (KPMG, Accenture, Ernst and Young, Deloitte, PriceWaterhouseCooper) is preferable.
• Must possess strategic perspective and strong analytical skills.
• Should be conversant with ERP accounts solution system (Microsoft Navision or equivalent).
