Job Summary

• Design, implement and review financial management policies, systems and procedures to ensure efficient and effective accounting and finance processes.
• Prepare annual budgets and financial projections.
• Responsible for timely preparation of accurate management accounts and financial statements/reports.
• Monitor the financial performance and cash flows, advice on matters arising and propose remedial measures where appropriate.
• Direct the maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, revenue distribution, depreciation, cost, property, and operating expenses, and insurance records

Qualifications and Skills

• A degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance or any related field
• Six (6) years working experience in a similar position.
• Experience especially in the media industry.
• Proficiency in any of the automated accounting computer packages.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent Initiative and problem solving skills.
• Diplomacy and organisational abilities.
