Our client, a major company to the Oil and Gas industry, is presently looking for a Senior Lead Mechanical Technician to join their team. The successful candidate would have the following job scope and requirement:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:
-Minimum 5 years experience in managing workshop preferably in oil/gas industry
-Expertise in reading engineering drawings, interpreting tolerances and applying them in the execution of jobs
-Familiar with servicing/repairing of various valves including control valves, relief valves, steel piping/structure fabrication and precision machining
-Possess proven leadership and people management skills; be able to develop long term plan and improvement to workshop
-Competent in the use of SAP in Maintenance activities
-Able to demonstrate understanding of maintenance procedures and planning systems; Sound knowledge of PTW, safe work practices, hazard assessment and risk management
JOB SPECIFICATION:
-Ensures availability of rotating equipments (diesel engines, pumps, compressors etc) and mechanical equipment (carnes, valves) to meet the production, injection and HSE targets in line with the operation policy.
-Supervising W/Shop mechanical activities on offshore operational facilities in a safe, reliable and cost effective way according to the approved company standards and policies.
-Control all work in their area of accountability through the implementation and compliance with the Permit to Work process so as to prevent any undue risks or unsafe acts
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work environment in offshore production complex, with hot humid and marine open sea.
Process is including oil and gas production, water injection, gas-lift, gas compression, and power generation.
